Exercise Description

The Plank Position or Abdominal Bridge is an isometric exercise that consists of maintaining a position similar to the one of doing push-ups for a certain time.

The most common way to plank is with your elbows, forearms, hands, and toes in contact with the ground.

However, there are variations to make this exercise more difficult, such as extending your arms forward.

The plank exercise is mainly to strengthen the abs.
