Side Plank

The Plank Position or Lateral Abdominal Bridge is an isometric exercise that consists of maintaining a position similar to the plank but sideways.
 
The most common way to do the side plank is with one of your elbows, forearms, hands, and toes in contact with the ground.
 
The side plank exercise is mainly to strengthen the oblique abs but also the entire core.
